ProSet Trap Guard
Independent Testing

Flow Rating
Trap Guard® was successfully tested for water flow in excess of 33 gallons per minute by an independent laboratory. Normal ratings for flow are in terms of fixture units, each fixture unit being equivalent to 7.5 gallons per minute. The maximum rating for a floor drain is 3 fixture units or 22.5 gallons per minute.

IPC, SBCCI Compliance
Trap Guard® has IPC, SBCCI and Warnock Hersey plumbing compliance. 

Durability
The Elastomeric material in Trap Guard® has been independently tested and complies with CAN/CSA B602-99 in the following:

  • Tensile Strength and Elongation

  • Hardness

  • Oil Immersion

  • Fluid Immersion

  • Water Absorption

  • Heat Aging

  • Low Temperature Flexibility

  • Tear Strength
